Energy and Ecology

As we are already at the forefront of alternative forms of energy (the first energy-independent “green” winery in Europe and the only one with no energy trace) and among other things we cultivate two unique indigenous vine varieties, we are determined to move to green vinification.

Green vinification

A first example of this effort is GREEN WINE, which contains no sulfur and preservatives, and continues with other wines.
Establishment of native varieties in Greece and abroad.
We want to spread our unique varieties on the international market and within this programming, we have already managed to export 60 to 75% of our production to third countries.
ABELON of Ktima Brintziki is located in Ancient Olympia… the cradle of civilization. In the Sacred Land of the Greeks. We use only organic fertilizers and symbiotic plants and herbs to protect our vines from diseases. We are doing absolutely green cultivation with certifications from Bio Hellas and other international organic certification organizations.

We build a theatre

Under the Greek blue skies, we recreate the bounds of civilization and the winemaking.
And we are the first green energy – Grid independent – winery in southern Europe. Ktima Brintziki have an absolutely zero energy footprint.
